This evening a friend of mine will come and visit me, and help me to format and re-setup my comp. I hope that everything will go well, and that I can go online again within a short time.... well, if you notice that I am not active here, probably something went wrong

After restoring the comp I will finally be able to create art again, I have a few ideas in my head already, and I so want to work on them, but the current condition of my comp did not allow that, it slowed down immensly and the hard drive is filled up to the limit.

work has been stressing lately, however, I got 3 days off now, since I had 7 days of early shift...imagine, getting up at 4:30 am

Hello...

I again have to apologize for not having been active in the last weeks, work kept me really busy, and when I returned from it I mostly practiced piano to finally get better with chopins nocturnes...
however, I am away for 3 weeks now, I have to go to a civil service schooling course, which is in a town 300 km from here, and I am not sure if I can access to dA there.

again, I am sorry for my inactivity, but when I am back I will try to finally set up my comp, do some new art and comment again on yours

Hello people
well, today I am at dA for one year, and I can say that I never regretted my join. I met lots of very nice people, I saw lots of great art and I also received quite a good amount of comments myself

hm, it became kind of a ritus to display ones stats at the dA birthday...well, for those of you who are interested, here are my GALLERY STATS

well, I have some less good news too... I started my civil service last week, which means that I got a 40 hour job now, and I have less time to do art, and right now I am not doing any, because I have to format my whole comp first, and then think of a good structure for my files. so, if I do not get online for a longer time something with restoring it went wrong

I am also sorry if I am commenting less now, but work is taking up much time and I am often tired after it. However, I will try to do as much art as possible, and I've got lots of ideas

so, stays to thank you all for all the support, nice words, help and encouraging I received, it means a lot to me

ps: a few people told me that prints of my work would be a good idea... so I would like to ask you who of you would buy them (I really want to know if you would buy it, not a general statement like "I think your work would sell" or so), and if so, which pieces

Lack Thereof

Im sure anyone that has been around the shoutbox lately knows exactly what im going to talk about. As many people actually do know, theres only 2 main moderators who actually go into the shoutbox. They are @oedalis and @ adam1975. Now bless them, they have been good to us and they have been there when we needed it, but theres never a constant monitor to the shoutbox. No matter what happens, something is always going down in there that results in the box regulars to sit there and argue with the person who is breaking the rules, or running to the HelpDesk for someone to come in and stop it because it is getting way out of hand. The real problem comes down to this, were basicly WAITING for the dA administration to do something about it. Many of the SB regulars have actually left because problems that have been arrising because of lack of authority.

Now, we fully understand that everyones running around trying to get dAmn situated and all, and starting a whole "dAmn Army" of new support for it and all, but the fact that our crys are being tossed aside for later or completely ignored is the worst part about it. We need more moderators. Two is not enough to watch a highly used section of DeviantArt 24/7. And even then, they may not even be there to begin with because they might be somewhere else doing things, or just dont feel like being there. So were back to step one, of arguing and sending for help. Countless times people in the SB who have been there for awhile have offered there time to become a moderator so that the SB could be more stable, I was one of them, and all the times we have been turned down, saying that the help is not needed and everything is covered.

If its covered, why are we still asking for help?

besides, we are getting dsl now, but it is making problems, the speed is really slow for some reason, which we still have to figure out. this, and the fact that a friends new year party was canceled today is really annouying me, but apart from this, I am in a pretty good mood
we won't shoot much rockets and all that today anyways, since we will donate the money for the tidal wave victims, hope it helps a bit
it could have been a really nice christmas if this had not happened

not sure how much art you will see from me in the next weeks, I've done a CD cover for our band last week, and a magazine cover this week, but I doubt that I will be submitting them here. started a few other works, but it depends pretty much on my motivation if and when I will finish them.

heya friends and watchers!!!
it's been a while since I wrote my last journal....well, this time I am writing for a better reason...I thought I'd let you know that I am working on a new painting, which is heading into the sci-fi genre... I think I'll finish it in about 10 or 15 hours, it looks good already, but there are lots of things I want to tweak yet. I hope to finish it by this weekend.

Apart from painting I am doing really fine recently, although art, piano and teaching piano takes up a lot of time...a friend of me who's playing the violin is visiting me more regularly now, and we are working on some nice pieces, one of them being my composition
so, enough from me, tell me, how are you?

So it has happened to me too now...my Last Remainder has been ripped by ~Itanium4 . Luckily ~ctrlaltdel made screen captures, noted me about that, and wrote a message to itanium, who took off the image, not without insulting ~ctrlaltdel
but I hope that this is solved now.

A more happy note... I finished a 3d project, a car model. I am a beginner in car modelling, this has been my second attempt at it so far, luckily I found a nice tutorial which helped me alot. and some typical for me heavy postprocessing made it final, the result looks great, and I think it shows the work I put in
I will submit it that weekend.

huya, it's done!!! the yearbook is finished, brought it to the printer on friday. last week was really busy, got no sleep. but now it's over. our party was also lots of fun, and on sunday will be the leaving ball.

but much more important... I will have some time for art this week again and I already made a new piece, Celestial Breakthrough, have a look at it, it's definately worth it

I got my leaving exam results yesterday I was really glad, they were better than expected. I got 10 points in german, 10 im math and 13 in english. 15 is the best possible mark.
this evening will be a big party of all 12th grade students, hope it will be nice

I still have no time for art, the work on the yearbook isn't finished yet. I only have some ideas for a webdesign in my mind that I want to work out, but we'll see if I have the time for it

my leaving exams are finally over, the oral was last week. well, it didn't go good, but I have to live with the result and see what I can make out of it.

well, some of you already know it, I am writing my final school exams in the next time. the first exam will be on monday, but the exam time stretches over about 3 weeks, so don't expect much work of me this time, I won't find much time to be online oh I am so nervous

you can find it under project > callisto. we added some basic sound, a HUD and smaller details. also I created another background for it, they now change randomly, but this will be altered as soon as we have concrete levels. I hope you like the changes we made and have fun playing it

I am currently working on two games together with friends, phoenix and callisto. there is a playable demo of callisto out now, a really early version, but we are progressing.
it's a hobbey project, but a good experience to all of us. so don't expect anything big, but if you want to test it out and play first level, than enter my page www.dp-world.net , go project> callisto and download it and then please drop me a note how you like it, if it works and what computer you have. since all of hour team have to learn for our exams we can't work on it day by day, but updates will come
