Another speedpainting out of the speedpainting series that I'm doing with =mynti

The original speedpainting took one hour and twenty minutes, but I took some more time to slightly refine it, because I'm making this available as a print, too. So it looks a little smoother than the speedpainting, but there are not many changes. If you want to see the original speedpainting, go here --> [link]

You should also check out mynti's speedpainting, which is an interpretation of the same stock photo.

Hope you enjoy, tell me what you think!
Daniel

I am running out of titles :cries:

mmm lovely :) these speedpainting exercises really seem to focus your use of colour. You've gotten a great eye for blending :D

Hehe well I think most of all they help to get the overall picture right, without getting bogged down by details. It's so easy to get caught up with details right away, so I really try to keep in mind the big picture and just spend the last five minutes or so on details :D It helps a lot

Absolutely  And if you do them regularly, all the better. One each day, just pick a reference and give yourself an hour. You don't even have to show anyone, it's just practise for yourself. Teaches you to observe, too

It was the cheapest wacom which they sold here at that time, about 50 bucks :D I didn't want to spend too much at the beginning, because I dind't know yet if I could work with a tablet really. But I liked it immediately, even the small one was nice already :D As long as it is a wacom, haha :D
