I love these kinds of perspectives. I been looking at most of your works this morning. It's shame the game got cancelled. These works are inviting to explore much like the world of Skyrim (I'm hoping you played it because it has unbelievable eye candy landscapes ) The whole theme of futuristic architecture with a med evil style is very cool. Kind of like final fantasy too. This has a mix of all great rpgs
like this one. :3 I appreciate the pattern you used for the wooden building and the piece of sky in the center, broken up nicely by the strings. Nice composition.
creative architecture is tough. To make it make sense, and yet over-the-top just a notch to impress the players/viewers is quite a study. Look forward to more pieces.
Even basic or rather normal architecture isn't easy, I find. It has to have certain proportions to be realistic, it needs to feel dimensional and not just flat, even with modern cube-like buildings, needs the right light and cast shadows and most of all needs to feel like it sits right inside your environment...all things that don't come easy to me, I still find that tricky
yeah, ppl who know it took 4 years of college, 2 years of internship to learn it, it doesn't come easy. XD I talked to an architect before, he said human is harder. Cuz he memorized all the measurements already for buildings. @O@ Anything can be his measurement tool, but usually, for buildings its human themselves.
He asked me to take measurement of my own room as first exercise and I was already having trouble figuring out how big/wide is my closet, with my feet as measurements. >O< The architect can walk around the room and know how big it is, he actually has a habit of doing so when he enter a new place. It's a fun thing to learn.
