Ha, finally submitting something again =) I drew the original concept for this during a boring lesson at driving school, and liked it so much that I immediately began to paint it... in the end it took me quite some time to finish it, though. I'm quite pleased with the outcome. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do :nod:

The contrast between the two areas blends perfectly :thumbsup:
This makes me wish that I could paint. :'(

Aww this is so very lovely hun :aww: could have a religious meaning to it too. Like the hard and dry area is our life, but just up ahead is a beautiful place in which we all yearn to go, which would be heaven.

I love it, there are just so many metaphors that it could represent. The light, playful vortex almost seems child-like amongst the dark and brooding atmosphere; it really works well.
